چکیده
Dento-alveolar trauma and congenital absences are the most important causes of edentulism that are not associated with bacteria. However, the World Health Organization reports show that dental caries and periodontitis, two conditions of bacterial origin, are the most frequent oral diseases in humans [1]. These conditions might be avoided if an adequate oral preventive health policy is implemented, including preventive and educational measures that, regardless of the population ́s socioeconomic factors, have shown their effectiveness. Despite these facts, tooth extraction1, defined as the surgical removal of a tooth, is currently the most frequent surgical procedure in the world [1].

Principles of flap design in dental implantology.
There is no single flap design that serves as the optimal approach for every implant surgery, and as the need for cosmetic procedures with minimally invasive techniques increases, so, too, does the variability in flap design. In other words, there is no single technique that is suited to every surgical situation, and the skilled surgeon must be thoughtful and creative in selecting every incisio...

The old wishes of people were to regenerate lost tissues of periodontium that this fact is achieved by gen and cell therapy .Periodontal disease is a chronic inflammation around the tooth by microbes that causes destruction of supporting structure of tissue of tooth such as alveolar bone, cementum and periodontal ligament. For treatment of periodontal diseases we can use the biomaterials which ...

Titanium and its alloys are widely used in dental implantology due to their low density, high resistance to corrosion, good mechanical properties and its biocompatibility [1]. However, sometimes patients are considered unsuitable for these interventions due to different reasons, some of them related to poor bone regeneration capacity. A better bone growth and therefore, a high implant osseointe...
